Artistic Statement
I believe the Theatre is about what happens in the now. Unlike any other art form, Theatre does not exist without a present witness, or outside of the moment it is being witnessed. It is a current, living thing. Therein lies its magic.
The Theatre creates more than entertainment; it creates an experience. It changes a space from a venue to a destination. It changes story to memory. It brings the ephemeral to the tangible. The Theatre provides something essential to the audience, just as the audience provides itself to the theatre to exist. Together, they create astonishing poetic expression and a collective experience that enriches culture, community, and life.
